The Loss of Civil Discourse to Polarized Politics
All tickets from the previous date of November 5th will be honored for this lecture.
Ellen Goodman, the consummate political observer, laments the loss of civil discourse in our political dialogue. She traces the way civility has been shattered as politics have become more polarized and inflamed by media ads that require constant fact-checking. Ellen Goodman claims it’s time to call a truce.
